Welcome to Movement LIC – one of NYC’s original premier climbing facilities with over 23,000 square feet of climbing 45 ft. high, dynamic walls, and a wide range of climbing. You’ll love our massive lead climbing cave and indoor rendition of The Gunks’ infamous “Buddha” roof boulder. Our bouldering and rope climbs range from beginner to advanced and are reset weekly. 🔸How long have you been climbing for?
I started climbing at the Valhalla location in 2015, then moved to NYC in 2019 and started climbing at this location. I’ve now been working at Movement LIC since 2022.
🔸What do you love about teaching?
What I love about teaching is unlocking new skills for people, helping them improve what they’re capable of and them enjoying working out either in the moment or the benefits they subsequently yield.
🔸What is a fun piece of trivia about you?
One interesting thing is that I started climbing to improve my abilities to get onto American Ninja Warrior, which l’ve since competed on twice.
