Grapevine opened in September of 2022 and is a 36,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with top-rope, lead climbing and bouldering in a beautiful 3-story gym. In addition to climbing, it features brand new fitness equipment, a training area, and yoga and fitness studios.

SBS, or Southern Bouldering Series, is our annual Fall bouldering series consisting of 4 competitions. Each comp consists of a 3-hour redpoint round for climbers of ALL skill levels, followed by a sweeeeet onsight finals round for the Elite categories that you won’t wanna miss! Food and beverage provided. This series has always been a favorite for the DFW community, and we can’t wait to see familiar faces back again as well as new ones!

So Movement fam, it is our absolute pleasure to be hollerin’ from the rooftops that our newly appointed Asst. Gym Director for The Hill is Tyler! To know him is to love him. Tyler has been a friendly face at The Hill ever since we opened (his two-year anniversary was last week!) and has been actively growing himself, this team, and this community ever since!
Here’s some things you may, or may not, know about Tyler:
🤠 I was born in Rochester, New York and me and my family moved to Texas when I was in middle school. After 4 years in Wisconsin for college I moved back to Dallas in 2017 and have been here ever since.
🪨 I definitely chose climbing. I had been looking for a new hobby and had gone climbing a few times in college, so I decided to give it a go. I immediately fell in love with climbing and the community around it!
☕️ I love trying out new recipes, playing disc golf when it’s not triple digit temperatures, or meeting up with friends for coffee or a bite to eat!
Next time you see Tyler around, give him a fist bump or a friendly “Hey!” 👋
