What
Movement’s Teal Membership is a need-based membership for those experiencing financial barriers and who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access climbing, yoga, and fitness at our gyms.
Why
Movement’s vision is to transform the world through the experience of climbing, yoga, and fitness. The Teal Membership is part of Movement’s Move with Purpose program. Move with Purpose reduces barriers to accessing these sports and enables more people to be a part of the Movement community.
How to Apply
Applications are open from the 1st to 15th of each month.
The Teal Membership is designed to provide those with financial barriers access to Movement, and we recognize those barriers can look different. We ask that you submit proof showing that you qualify for a local, state, or federal government assistance program of some type.
Please know that there are a limited number of Teal Memberships available, so applying does not guarantee a Teal Membership. All applicants will hear back from our team by the 25th of each month.
Please do not submit any personal financial, bank, or tax information. Applications with this information cannot be considered.

How does someone apply?

Does a pending applicant have gym access once they’ve applied? How long will it take to hear back?
Pending applicants do not have access to the gym during the application process.
Applications can be submitted from the 1st to the 15th of every month and applicants will be contacted by the 25th of the same month.
If your application is approved, you will receive a unique link to sign up and will have until the last day of the month to complete your purchase. Gym access begins on the 1st of the month after your membership is approved.

How long are teal members locked into the rate?
A teal member will have access to that rate for one year. At the end of the twelve-month period, they need to apply again for consideration or convert to a standard membership.

Are rentals included for a Teal Member?
A new Teal Member has the first month of gear rentals included with their membership.

Can a Teal Membership be a part of a household membership?
No, Teal Memberships are individual-only memberships.
