Gotham Citizen
Register now to reserve your spot in the 9th annual Gotham Citizen Bouldering Comp! Compete for a $3,000 cash purse and thousands in merchandise prizes! This bouldering citizens competition welcomes climbers of all backgrounds and skill levels. Stick around for finals and watch the strongest climbers in the region battle it out in our Open Finals, with live music and free drinks!

Youth Gotham Citizen
Compete in our Youth Bouldering Competition: Gotham Citizen on March 28!
Movement LIC welcomes youth climbers ages 13 and under of all backgrounds and skill levels. This fun youth competition allows your child the opportunity to try out brand new sets under the support of our youth department coaching staff!

Pre-Crag: Open Practice

Looking to practice your outdoor climbing skills? Want a refresh on the Anchor Building Fundamentals class?
Come by and practice anything from rappelling, putting up anchors, and taking them down. This open level class is meant for folks who already have some experience with pre-crag skills.

Welcoming BIPOC climbers old and new to our climbing community. Everyone benefits from inclusion, representation and a more welcoming community.

Asian Climbing Tribe

2nd Friday of every month | 7 PM – 9 PM.
These meetups will be facilitated by Asian Climbing Tribe leaders and feature rotating partner vendors every month.
Asian Climbing Tribe’s mission is to provide a safe space for members of the Asian community. They want to lay the foundation of a strong communal support system that is driven by networking between members of the climbing community and the local and/or climber owned Asian businesses. This will allow everyone to connect and collectively address the issues in the community.

Queer Climb Night

Last Monday of the Month | 6:30PM – 9 PM.
Join us for Queer Climb Nights! Stop by for an opportunity to climb, meet other people, and go to a happy hour with Karaoke at The Local.
One staff member will go with each group and we will get straight to climbing. Staff will be there to help with belaying, climbing tips and just to chat and help build community!

CRUX Newbie Night

Third Friday of every month | 6:30PM – 9PM.
Join us on the third Friday of every month for CRUX Newbie Night! Designed for new or less-experienced climbers, CRUX hosts and teaches climbers about climbing equipment, safety, and technique for both toproping and bouldering.
CRUX empowers members of the LGBTQ community to participate in rock climbing and outdoor recreation in New York.
