There’s no other way to put it, this place is huge and the perfect place to learn and grow as a climber. We have more than 38,000 square feet of varied climbing terrain – just for some perspective, that’s the surface area of three Olympic-sized pools! And we certainly like to have fun here, from Harry Potter themed parties to canned food drives, we have a thriving community that is always excited to meet new friends. Come for the climbing, stay for the helpful advice from gym staff and motivation from other members cheering each other up the wall.

  • newly upgraded spaces

    Movement Rockville underwent a nearly $1 million renovation project late 2023 through early 2024, bringing major upgrades to our facility including:

    • Addition of a climbing training area with adjustable training boards and best-in-class equipment
    • Expanded fitness room with new and upgraded cardio and strength equipment
    • Modernized men’s and women’s locker rooms
    • Upgraded yoga + group fitness room with new flooring and finishes
    • Improved finishes throughout, including lighting and community areas
