Movement Announces Saturday, Nov. 12 Opening of New Climbing Gym in Dallas’s Design District

All are invited to try rock climbing during free days over opening weekend – Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13

 

Dallas, TX – November 4, 2022: Movement, the largest nationwide community of indoor climbing gyms, today announced Saturday, November 12 as the opening date of their latest climbing facility: Movement Design District in Dallas, TX.

Spanning more than 45,000 square-feet, Movement Design District offers an acre of climbing, yoga, and fitness to the Design District community. Notable amenities include 56-foot-high walls, studio-quality yoga classes, massive functional fitness and cardio zones, group fitness classes, progressive climbing classes, youth programming, saunas, and a gear shop complete with expert advice. The climbing terrain offers something for everyone with options to boulder, top rope, lead, and speed climb.

• Friday, November 11 | 5pm – 10pm Members Sneak Peek and Climb (members only, memberships are available to purchase that night)
• Saturday, November 12 & Sunday, November 13 |10am – 6pm Opening weekend, free day passes, free rentals, free intro to rope climbing classes, and access to membership discounts

In addition, anyone who completes the waiver online will receive a free day pass.

The gym is in Dallas’s unique and vibrant Design District community at 141 Glass St. The Design District is known for its fine-art dealerships, furniture showrooms and eclectic shopping experiences set against an industrial backdrop. The gym is less than 15 miles from a sister Movement Climbing Gym at The Hill Shopping Center and members will enjoy access to both locations.
