The much-loved home gym of Westchester County’s passionate climbing community, Movement Valhalla has served the Lower Hudson Valley region for over 15 years. In that time, we’ve served as a technical training ground for Gunks’ regulars, and a recreational space for local schools and summer camps. We are strongly dedicated to youth programs, and Valhalla offers some of the best youth coaching and development in the tri-state area.

Trying something new here. We’re mic’ing up some of our setters to get an inside look inside their 💭 .
Here’s a little snek pek, like a blimp, of Siri & Brett forerunning* each others’ climbs.

Member Appreciation Post!
Meet Ellen — a Movement Valhalla member since 2022 and one of the brightest energies in our community! Originally from Plainview, Long Island, she got her start after watching her daughter climb… one try was all it took. Love at first hold? We think so 💛
Q: What’s your favorite thing about climbing?
Ellen: So many reasons! Climbing keeps me young and fit, introduces me to friends of all ages, and teaches me so much about myself — physically and mentally. Whenever there’s a new set, it feels like Christmas morning. It makes me feel like a kid again.
Q: Why Movement Valhalla?
Ellen: I started climbing here because it was close and had great parking — but I stayed because of the amazing staff, the training, and the friends I’ve made. Sometimes I’m so excited to climb, I can barely contain myself on the drive over!
