To qualify for a student membership, you just need to provide us with the following:
- Students under 18 – no proof needed.
- Student 18 and older still in high school – submit a photo of your school student ID
- Students 18 and older in college – submit a screenshot showing you’re enrolled full time.
Screenshot MUST INCLUDE: Your name, the school’s name, the current term, and the total enrolled units.
The student discount is extended only to full time students. We consider full time as 12 or more units for undergrad students and 9 or more units for grad students. If your school considers full time status as fewer units than this, please include supporting documentation. (Pro-tip beta to get your proof accepted faster: circle, highlight or otherwise mark the items above!)
New members have 30 days from sign up to submit proof. After 30 days, if proof is not submitted, the membership will be changed to the individual rate and the difference in dues will be owed. Current members must submit proof in order to be changed on the 1st of the upcoming month. Monthly Members must submit proof every September to remain at the student rate, regardless when it was last submitted.
