When is Movement Columbia open, and what are the least busy times?
Movement Columbia is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 10pm, Saturday from 8am to 8pm, and Sunday from 8am to 6pm. The gym is typically quietest on weekday mornings and early afternoons, while mid-day on weekends tends to be less busy than evenings.

Movement Columbia is located at 7175 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia, Maryland. The gym is easily accessible by car and offers ample free parking in the surrounding lot. It’s conveniently located near major roads in the Columbia area, and local bus routes service the neighborhood for those arriving by public transit.

What amenities does Movement Columbia have (bouldering, rope climbing, yoga/fitness, showers, etc.)?
Movement Columbia offers a mix of rope climbing with top-rope and lead routes, expansive bouldering terrain for all experience levels, and auto belays for independent climbing. The gym also features unlimited yoga and fitness classes, a fully equipped strength and conditioning area, locker rooms with showers, and an on-site gear shop with member discounts. Community events, clinics, and social meetups are regularly hosted to help climbers connect on and off the wall.

I’m new—how do I start? Do you offer an intro class or a trial membership?
We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re learning the ropes or starting with bouldering, our intro classes are the perfect way to start your climbing journey. We also offer a 15-day trial membership that gives you unlimited access to climbing, yoga, and fitness—plus free gear rentals, access to both intro bouldering and intro ropes classes, and a waived initiation fee if you join afterward.
