Welcome to Movement Sunnyvale! This gym has more than 280 routes and problems spread out on 28,000 square feet of climbing walls – a perfect space for every age and ability. We’re proud of the breadth of our community, from helping new climbers take their first step to cheering on Yosemite’s icons and hosting next-level yogis, everyone is welcome. Don’t miss our hand-carved cracks, outdoor bouldering area, fully-stocked gear shop and a staff psyched on everything climbing, yoga, and fitness.

When is Movement Sunnyvale open, and what are the least busy times?
Movement Sunnyvale is open Monday–Friday, 6am–11pm, Saturday, 8am-8pm and Sunday, 8am–6pm. The gym is usually quietest in the mornings and early afternoons on weekdays and afternoons and evenings on weekends.

Where is Movement Sunnyvale located, and how do I get there (parking + transit)?
Movement Sunnyvale is located at 815 Stewart Drive next to Lowe’s Home Improvement and walking distance from bus routes 20 Arques & Wolf and 56 Fair Oaks & Maude. Free car & bike parking is available in the gym’s immediate vicinity.

What amenities does Movement Sunnyvale have (bouldering, rope climbing, yoga/fitness, showers, etc.)?
Movement Sunnyvale offers rope climbing with walls up to 55 ft, two bouldering areas, two MoonBoards, and a fully stocked fitness space with weight and cardio equipment. Members also enjoy unlimited yoga and fitness classes, and a well-equipped gear shop. You’ll find locker rooms with showers and a dry sauna. The facility is ADA-accessible, with accessible restrooms and climbing areas.

I’m new—how do I start? Do you offer an intro class or a trial membership?
We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re learning the ropes or starting with bouldering, our intro classes are the perfect way to start your climbing journey. We also offer a 15-day trial membership that gives you unlimited access to climbing, yoga, and fitness—plus free gear rentals, access to both intro bouldering and intro ropes classes, and a waived initiation fee if you join afterward.
