We built our home in a vacant building large enough to house an entire football field worth of climbing, yoga, fitness, and fun! As Colorado’s largest climbing gym, Movement Englewood features more than 400 routes set for a variety of climbing and movement abilities to keep you coming back for more. It is recognized as one of 10 great places to learn to rock climb, but most importantly, our gym serves as a gathering space for the neighborhood and community.

Feel like you’re stuck on the wall or stuck in a rut? These simple shifts can help you climb stronger, smarter, and with more control
#1. Master your footwork
It’s not all about upper body strength. Deliberate foot placements give you better balance and reduce wasted energy.
#2. Tune into your body
Notice where your hips are, how your core is engaged, and whether you’re using momentum or muscling through. The more aware you are, the more efficient and fluid your movement becomes.
#3. Climb with intention
Instead of jumping on the wall just to burn energy, set a goal for each session. Whether it’s improving technique, trying harder grades, having a clear focus sharpens your progress and keeps you mentally engaged.
Try integrating these on your next session and see how much more dialed in your climbing feels. Sometimes the biggest gains come from the smallest adjustments. 💪

🚨 Setter Spotlight Alert 🚨
We’re shining the light on Matt Pozo, our Head Setter at Movement Englewood.
He’s the creative force behind some of your favorite routes in the gym, keep reading to learn more👇
1.) How did you begin your setting career?
My obsession for climbing grew rather fast, and my journey into setting followed not long afterward. I found climbing my senior year of college and was instantly hooked. I ended up getting a job at the local climbing gym, eager to learn as much as I could about this new way of life.
2.) Have you had any memorable career highlights or routes you’ve set?
I once set a route for a CGI groundhog for the 2023 Pennsylvania Lottery Commercial. Maybe not my career highlight... but certainly a funny and unique experience!
3.) Fav crag snack?
Double Stuf Oreo!
