Team Philosophy
Movement Gowanus Competitive team strives to merge competitive success with an extraordinary cooperative culture. Our team will be built on a foundation of support and camaraderie, allowing our athletes to develop the confidence to push themselves outside of their comfort zones and reach great heights. As coaches, we acknowledge that the path to excellence is not an easy one, and often not a linear one. As such, we find it incumbent that our athletes develop the resilience to welcome failure as a natural part of the process, as failure is often the gateway to greater success. By following our fear, we inherently commit ourselves to a lifelong journey of growth and discovery, that will ultimately lead to both individual and collective success in climbing, and beyond.
