Movement Lincoln Park offers more than 43,000 square feet of climbing, yoga, and fitness to the active and creative community in Lincoln Park. This gym has more than 200 routes on walls topping out at 56-feet high – ample space for every age and ability. We love helping new climbers learn and offer several introductory classes. In addition, we are a full-service gym with amenities like cardio equipment and weights, yoga studio, group fitness classes, expert instructors, and a fully-stocked gear shop.

    A great first step into rock climbing for all ages!

    Take your first step into the vertical world with this one-hour climbing session with our experienced instructors handling the ropes for you.

    $35 per person includes gear, all day access, and your instructor for an hour.

    Space is limited, and may include sharing the instructor with up to 3 other climbers that aren’t in your group. Pre-registration is required.

  • Starting Out On Your Climbing Journey

    Begin with an Intro To Rope Climbing class.

    Learn the basics of knot tying and belay technique in this hour long intro lesson! Designed for people with little or no climbing experience, this course teaches the skills needed to climb independently at our facilities and is a great first-time climbing experience.

  • climbing during covid, here's what's new

    We are continuing to follow the CDC, state, and local county guidelines. The City of Chicago is updating COVID Mandates in place on February 28.

    Effective, Monday, February 28, masks + vaccination proof will no longer be required upon entry.  Anyone who would like to continue wearing a mask is welcome to do so and we encourage folks to wear a mask, especially when in close proximity to others.⁠

    Please remember that your kindness goes a long way with our front desk staff as we adapt to the recent developments.
