Welcome to Movement Portland. Located in the Northwest Pearl District of Portland, this is a world-class training facility for beginners and elite athletes alike. We have 30,500 square feet of custom Walltopia wall designs for roped climbing and bouldering. Walls reach 55 feet high and feature 18 cracks. The bouldering area offers up a 18-foot high ball boulder and a 40-foot ramp to explore.

What’s included with a Movement Portland membership?

When is Movement Portland open, and what are the least busy times?
Movement Portland is open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–11:00 PM, Saturday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Sunday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. The gym is usually quietest in the mid-mornings/ early afternoons on weekdays and afternoons and evenings on weekends.

Where is Movement Portland located, and how do I get there (parking + transit)?
Movement Portland is located at 1405 NW 14th Ave, Portland, OR 97209, in the Pearl District/Northwest Portland. If you’re driving, street parking is available but limited and metered. The gym is also very transit-friendly: several TriMet bus lines and the Portland Streetcar (NS and B Loops) stop just a short walk away, and you can connect from the MAX light rail downtown. Walking, biking, scooters, are all great options too, with ample bike parking on location.

We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re learning the ropes or starting with bouldering, our intro classes are the perfect way to start your climbing journey. We also offer a 15-day trial membership that gives you unlimited access to climbing, yoga, and fitness—plus free gear rentals, access to both intro bouldering and intro ropes classes, and a waived initiation fee if you join afterward
