Intro Classes 

  • Introduction to Rope Climbing

    Learn the basics of knot tying and belay technique in this approximately hour-long class. Designed for people with little or no climbing experience, this course teaches the skills needed to climb independently at our facilities and is a great first-time climbing experience. Participants are encouraged to stay and continue to climb and practice their skills after an hour or so of instruction at no additional cost!

  • Introduction to Bouldering

    Learn to boulder! Our instructors create a fun, community-focused experience covering falling, bouldering etiquette, and basic movement skills.

    If you’re new to bouldering, this is the perfect class to get started on a new, lifelong passion. Plus, you’re encouraged to continue climbing and practicing your skills after an hour and a half of instruction at no additional cost!

  • Book a Climb

    Join us for a one-hour climbing session, perfect for groups of up to four people. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics while handling the ropes, so you can focus on reaching new heights with friends. Great for all levels and open to the public, reserve your spot now for a rad vertical adventure, and ensure you have assistance waiting for you upon arrival at the gym!

Intermediate Classes 

  • Learn to Lead

    Over the course of two classes, learn the essential techniques necessary to lead climb and belay in the gym. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice taking and catching falls. This course is also a great first step for those with aspirations to lead outdoors

  • Recreational Peak Performance Team

    Develop your fundamental techniques and climbing fitness to help you achieve your goals, all in a supportive and social group training environment. Have a consistent climbing crew to keep you motivated and get personalized coaching from our experienced coaches.

  • Intermediate Peak Performance Team

  • Intermediate Technique 1: Heel and Toe Hooks

    Come get a taste of some fancy footwork. Focused on heel and toe hooks, this 60 minute clinic gives you a taste of our Intermediate Technique class and how these two techniques can improve your climbing from overhanging terrain to finding more rests.

  • Intermediate Technique 2: Flags and Deadpoints

    This clinic will teach the moments to use flags- these, the benefits to them, and the proper way to use them. This clinic can give people more advanced techniques to improve their climbing skills.

    In this class, participants will learn skills to execute dynamic movements. From single moves, to dead points and dynos, climbers will practice a variety of techniques to make big moves. By the end of the class, climbers should be working toward maintaining momentum through sequences.

  • Intermediate Technique 3: Slopers, Pinches, and Sequencing

    Every hold is different, just as every climb is different. This clinic explores the fundamental strategies of approaching different hold types. Bust through your plateau and frustrations about slopers, pinches, and underclings as you learn the secrets of sequencing into and out of these hold types. Work hard and climb hard, but also learn how to make these intermediate holds work for you.

Outdoor

  • Pre-Crag: Anchor Building Fundamentals

    This class is perfect for the gym climber excited to get outside for the first time.

    Learn the basics of anchor building, including bolted and natural anchors, and the differences between the gym and the crag.

    We’ll also touch on outdoor ethics, including Leave No Trace, to ensure continued access to our favorite outdoor areas.

  • Pre-Crag: Sport Anchors and Cleaning

    Learn how to efficiently and securely clean a sport anchor and lower off in most single-pitch sport scenarios.

    Learn fundamental rappel setups that take your outdoor climbing experience to the next level.

    We’ll cover rope extensions, backups and transitions between partners.

    Learn how to transition between partners, clean anchors as a second, belay from above, etc.

    We’ll cover hanging belays, when belaying directly off anchors, and rope management fundamentals.

    Learn about the necessary knots and hitches that will get you out of some of the most frequently encountered climbing situations.
