Gowanus to LIC Bike Ride 🚵
FREE for Members | Day Pass ($35) for Guests
Saturday, November 8 | 10am – 4pm
Join us on November 8th for our biannual bike & climb where we visit two locations for a full day of movement, coffee, and community!
Start your morning with coffee at Gowanus, climb from 10am–12pm, then hop on your bike (or grab a CitiBike) for a group ride over to Long Island City. We’ll climb again from 2pm–4pm, then wrap it up with happy hour at Focal Point Brewery.
Members get to bring a guest for free!

The Phoenix

Free for Members + Guests, financed by The Phoenix. The NYC chapter of The Phoenix hosts sober climbing events at least 3 times a month across the different Movement locations in NYC. The only requirement to attend is 48 hours of continuous sobriety. Friends and family are always welcome, please contact Grant Wheeler [email protected] with any questions!

BIPOC Meetup

Join us for Black, Indigenous, People of Color Climb Night at Gowanus to climb and be in community! These evenings are hosted by the BIPOC Climbing Collective, a community-based group organizing for more BIPOC and trans, gender-diverse, and queer spaces in climbing.

Laru Beya Collective
Meets on recurring Sundays.
The Laru Beya Collective is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering the historically excluded youth of Far Rockaway through mentor-led surfing, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities. Our goal is to develop our mentees into well-rounded, confident, and environmentally conscious adults.
