The Giant Awakens

Nor'Easter Bouldering Series
We thought it was time for New York & Pennsylvania to have a regional bouldering competition series! The Nor’Easter is designed to build momentum through a series of competitions across multiple gyms over the course of the 2025-26 season. The more competitions you attend, the more points you earn that get aggregated towards your Series score! More points means a better chance at snagging a spot in Superfinals in June 2026!

The Phoenix

Free for Members + Guests, financed by The Phoenix. The NYC chapter of The Phoenix hosts sober climbing events at least 3 times a month across the different Movement locations in NYC. Join us for Black, Indigenous, People of Color Climb Night at Gowanus to climb and be in community! These evenings are hosted by the BIPOC Climbing Collective, a community-based group organizing for more BIPOC and trans, gender-diverse, and queer spaces in climbing.

Laru Beya Collective
Meets on recurring Sundays.
The Laru Beya Collective is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering the historically excluded youth of Far Rockaway through mentor-led surfing, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities. Our goal is to develop our mentees into well-rounded, confident, and environmentally conscious adults.
